Building trust in enterprise AI: Together AI earns ISO 27001:2022 certification

ISO 27001:2022 builds on our existing compliance program and reinforces our commitment to helping customers run production-grade AI workloads on secure, well-governed infrastructure.

Summary

Together AI has received an ISO 27001:2022 certification from A-LIGN Compliance and Security, Inc., an ANAB-accredited certification body, confirming that our Information Security Management System (ISMS) meets the latest international standard for information security management. This milestone builds on our existing compliance program and reinforces our commitment to helping customers run production-grade AI workloads on secure, well-governed infrastructure.

The certification reflects a comprehensive, multi-month assessment of how we manage risk, secure data, and continuously improve security across our organization and platform.

Scope of the certification

The ISO 27001:2022 certification is scoped to the ISMS supporting Together AI’s global platform, including the systems, processes, and controls that protect customer data and platform operations. This scope covers our corporate headquarters as well as the security of third‑party data centers that provide hosting and colocation services for Together AI’s infrastructure.

What ISO means for customers

ISO 27001:2022 is the leading international standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS. By certifying our ISMS to this standard, an independent auditor has validated that Together AI systematically identifies information security risks, applies appropriate technical and organizational controls, and regularly reviews those controls for effectiveness.

For customers running AI workloads on Together AI, the certification means stronger assurances around governance of sensitive information, access control, asset management, secure development practices, and incident response processes that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data processed on our platform. It also provides a widely recognized benchmark that your security, risk, and procurement teams can use when evaluating Together AI as a critical AI infrastructure provider.

Our approach to security and compliance

Achieving ISO certification is one part of a broader, defense‑in‑depth security program at Together AI. We combine secure-by-design infrastructure, rigorous access management, continuous monitoring, and formal policies and procedures so that security is embedded into how we design, build, and operate our AI platform.

This certification complements our existing controls aligned with other industry frameworks such as SOC 2, which help customers in regulated industries adopt AI while meeting their compliance obligations. We will continue to evolve our ISMS and related programs to address emerging risks in AI systems, scaling our controls and governance as customers bring more sensitive and business-critical workloads to Together AI.
